Campaign Update - Frequently Asked Questions

How much has the parish raised so far?

To date, our parish community has made 506 pledges totaling $10.5 million, and we have collected $2.3 million in cash toward those pledges. Combined with the $10 million matching gift from a generous donor, our campaign has raised a total of $20.5 million.

How many parish families have participated?

About 45% of our 1,100 parish families have made a pledge, roughly 12-15 percentage points higher than the national average for capital campaigns at Catholic institutions, according to our campaign consultant.

What is our parish’s fundraising goal?

Our goal is to raise $12 million within the parish. Every dollar we raise now means less of a financial burden on the parish later.

Why do some documents mention $17 million while others mention $12 million?

At the beginning of the campaign, Father Simpson set a goal of raising $17 million. That goal includes $12 million to be raised within the parish and $5 million from outside of the parish.

What is the parish doing now?

While we are still collecting pledges, we have begun the pledge redemption process to help families set up their contributions. We are also working with financial institutions to secure financing for the remainder of the project.

When will we break ground?

We are planning to break ground in 2027. Before construction begins, the project must complete a series of diocesan approvals, including financial and architectural reviews.

What can I do to support the campaign?

If you have not yet made a pledge, please prayerfully consider making a sacrificial pledge to the capital campaign. You can pledge online here.

If you have made a pledge, thank you for your generosity! Please consider starting your contributions toward your committed pledge. We are counting on you to help make this project a reality. If you have questions, reach out to Jason Wu.

Above all, please continue to pray for the success of our capital campaign. Your prayers matter just as much as your financial support.
