Sacristans

“I am the bread of life. No one who comes to me shall ever be hungry; no one who believes in me shall ever thirst.”
–John 6:35

The Liturgical Ministry of Sacristan is responsible to prepare the altar and Credence Table for the Mass, ensuring all liturgical roles are present and prepared for the Mass.

If you have questions or would like to get involved, please contact Lisa Zeisloft.

Extraordinary Ministers

Serving as an Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist at Mother Teresa is an esteemed privilege that entrusts the faithful with the administration of Holy Communion during Mass. Our Extraordinary Ministers bear witness to our faith in Christ’s real presence by assisting our clergy in fulfilling the sacred mission and nourishing our community in body, mind, and spirit.

If you wish to serve, please contact Lisa Zeisloft to schedule a training session.
After attending a training session, you may sign up for Mass slots.

Lectors

The role of a Lector at Mother Teresa is one of great honor and responsibility. Lectors bring forth the living Word of God to our congregation, allowing God’s message to resonate among us. The Ministry of the Word is a profound service, approached with utmost seriousness and dignity. As a Lector, you participate directly in spreading the Word of God, aiding in the spiritual nourishment of our faith community.

To get involved, contact Sean Fagin.

Altar Servers

Altar Servers play an integral role at Mother Teresa, helping to ensure that our Eucharist and other liturgical ceremonies are conducted with grace and reverence. As an Altar Server, you assist the Priest and aid in the smooth execution of the Mass.

Music Ministry

Our Music Ministry at Mother Teresa enhances the weekly Mass by motivating, inspiring, and encouraging prayers through the universal language of music. Through our music, we invite and inspire the congregation to engage fully in worshiping the Lord. We believe in the power of music to uplift spirits, deepen faith, and create a sense of shared joy in our community.

If you have questions or would like to get involved as a musician, please contact Heather Tabor.

Children’s Liturgy

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them. For it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.” –Matthew 19:14

Our Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) Ministry at Mother Teresa is dedicated to bringing the Gospel to our young parishioners in an engaging and comprehensible way. Through song, discussion, and interactive activities, our volunteers help children connect with and understand the Word of God on their level.

If you have questions or would like to volunteer, please contact Kimberly Gray. Additionally, if volunteering for this ministry, please complete the diocese’s Safe Environment Training linked below.
